The St Vincent’s Prostate Cancer Research Centre (SVPCRC) is celebrating the outstanding success of its recent charity golf day, which raised over $200,000 to support vital prostate cancer research. The funds will directly fuel the Centre’s ongoing work into improving outcomes for men with prostate cancer.

For 25 years, the SVPCRC has been at the forefront of cutting-edge research under the directorship of Professor Phillip Stricker AO. The Centre’s multidisciplinary approach focuses on a range of key areas to improve patient care, including enhancing quality of life, advancing imaging techniques like MRI and PSMA PET scans, pioneering robotic surgery, and developing innovative focal therapies such as NanoKnife irreversible electroporation (IRE) and genomics . This significant fundraising event will help ensure the continuation of this world-class research.
