Professor Stricker invited to the AngioDynamics International Life Symposium held in Monte Carlo
Professor Stricker was invited to attend the eighth edition of AngioDynamics International LIFE Symposium held on the 6th – 8th of November 2025 in Monte Carlo.
Over the three days he gave presentations on NanoKnife focal ablation to the prostate, conducted a user’s group now using NanoKnife and participated in a panel discussion chaired by Professor Mark Emberton titled, “Focal Therapy; easy to learn, easy to redo, easy to rescue”. This discussion examined some of the aspects of NanoKnife therapy including patient selection, redoing and salvage treatments.
On the closing day, Prof Stricker chaired a user meeting titled, “Nanoknife prostate users”. He was also presented with a “Dedication to Research for Surgical Interventions” award from AngioDynamics strategic initiative, “The Continuum, building together”. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive continuum of care through product development, acquisitions, and educational events.
The Symposium was very well attended, especially by NanoKnife focal ablation users from around the world, underscoring the procedure’s international adoption.
